May 2012 Meeting Highlights

Our new president Audrey reviewed our successful quilt show.

The various committees reported their success and suggestions for future quilt shows.

Our out going president is seem below receiving her presidents blocks, all made by the guild members.

She is to have her quilt completed within two years.  I don't know do you think she can make the deadline?

One again we had a very success full afternoon of sewing.

We complete several quilt tops.

The old Italian blocks were sewn together.

 The scrappy stars was stretched and pinned and is waiting for someone to take it home and do some quilting magic.

 And here is the pin wheel quilt top finished.

 Past president Lorna completed her president's blocks quilt.

Sandra volunteered to demonstrate our next comfort block for June and July.  This is the first part of a more complex block.  Jewel tones is the requested colour.

Rae's Challenge Blocks

This quilt was donated to the Cranberry Firemen for their rescue vehicle.
