December

We've all been busy at home under lock down measures again. As we celebrate a different kind of Christmas this year, lets celebrate our good fortune as our guild members all remain healthy. I am full of gratitude and good tidings this year. I hope December finds you all well.

Our virtual meeting and online show and tell continues ...

Rae made these two sweet quilts from her stash

Sandra S. made this lovely quilt with some friendship stars she won at the guild last year. Truly a cherished piece.

Sandra whipped up a lovely Christmas throw to keep herself cozy

Dallas finished this beautiful rainbow throw and two others which she mailed off as gifts.

November

Sadly, our in person meetings have been halted again due to Covid-19. We are all, thankfully, safe and snug in our homes. Lots of time to sew, sew, sew! I think in many ways, this is poised to be our most creative year yet.

Show and tell has been trickling in and I am happy to post it for members. Please email me at:

sheri-lyn-fox@hotmail.com to have your pieces added to this blog.

On to show and tell ....

I've been sewing advent calendars to beat the band.

Phyllis has been busy!

I'm ready for a Christmas table. I've made a million of these easy peasy placemats!

Vivian finished this gorgeous woodland quilt. It looks as good from the back as it does from the front.

Marg, busy as ever!

Rae quilted up this sweet runner, I'm thinking out of a few scraps. Lovely.

Sandra has been making big and small. Lovely fall quilts!

Stay safe and happy quilting!

October

I thought it best to get our October pictures up before the November meeting!
As we did in March, Manitoba is moving to code red precautions so our meetings are moving to the virtual world.

September

We had another large, wonderful crowd at our September guild meeting. There is always more show and tell as we get closer to Christmas. This was meant to be our show year so are all a bit sad and missing that.

It may be a long cold winter ... its a good time to be a quilter!
