January

January has all cooped up at home again due to the Covid-19 restrictions. We have been navigating our Zoom meetings fairly well, though nothing beats getting together.
I know everyone is home sewing, sewing sewing but our January show and tell seems a bit thin.

Everyone teases me because I love the hopscotch pattern so much, but I just can't help myself. It is a great pattern to whip up quickly and to use scraps and other odd pieces of fabric from your stash. I have been sitting on these bits of Oh Canada fabric pieces for about five years. Best I sew it up! This our warm and cozy Mountie quilt.

My helper is trying to trick you all, pretending to nap.

Another stash buster complete! Feels better to hold a finished quilt than trip over a box of scraps.

Sandra made these sweet stash buster quilts for your grandchildren. I'm sure they will love them. Let these be some motivation for you to empty some fabric bins and get sewing. It has inspired me to get digging into bins some long forgotten fabric bits. I think we all have more stash busters in our future.

Gladys was busy. She made these sweet minis for Christmas gifts.

Stay warm, stay safe and get sewing up your stashes!
