October Meeting Highlights

Better late than never!

I am so sorry to be so late with our blog posting this month ... I have had some online hiccups this month ... I'm a better quilter than blogger!

Audrey has been busy ... she took a long arm certification class and has been busy quilting like a pro!

Cynthia makes the sweetest quilts. This Lil' Red Riding quilt is just lovely. The picture doesn't do it justice.

This is one of our winter raffle quilts. This dogs in sweaters quilt was a lot of work ... a lot! I think it was worth it. This labour of love has a new home and we have some padding in our bank account.

Evelyn has been busy. She has some sweet, sunny quilts to show this month!

I love Iris. She insists she is a beginner! She always makes unique and stunning quilts. Again, this picture doesn't do her quilt justice.

Judy took on a challenge to sew up our cupboard - this is a fun kids quilt which will be donated this Christmas.

Lynne shows off some leftovers from our 2nd raffle quilt .... if you like these cushions you should come to our Christmas party next month. These sweet bears will be raffled in our silent auction.

Lynne also models an oldie but a goodie ... She said this quilt is made from some of the first fabrics she ever purchased.

Marg quilted this stunner with a different motif in each vein ... really something to see!

I'm hiding behind Olaf here ... I was sitting on some UFO's for awhile and brought them out to finish this month. These quilts will be donated to our various services for Christmas.

I have so much kids fabric in my stash! This is one of my many I-spy quilts.

 Quarter section fun ....

Myrna quilted this sweet baby up with the sweetest motifs.

Phyl and Eileen model some fashionable wares

This is a gift for Rae's hockey loving grandchild. It is super sweet. She always finds the neatest fabrics.

Rae has a stunning Liberty of London quilt. She made this for her granddaughter - 126 petals of machine appliqued love right here!

Sandra has lots of tell with our show and tell ... this sweet runner has quite a story and is reversible.

Tell next time!
