Churn Dash Block

Rae was gracious enough to lead us in another block demo (2 months in a row!) 

Our August/September comfort block is the Churn Dash block. We are using a pattern by Lori Holt. 

Two colors please in shades of fall with a light background. 

These lovely blocks were made by Sandra S. Great job Sandra! 

Here is a shot of the directions. We are making the 6 inch block.

Trim the half square triangles to 2.5" 

The pattern picture uses 3 colors, please only use two for our purposes. 

The blocks below are Sandra Dixon's. She couldn't stop making them once she started! 

And this is Rae's block. Just so sweet! If a few us manage to get some blocks together for September's meeting, I think we will have the makings of a beautiful fall quilt!
