June 2015 Meeting Highlights

Time to catch up on the blog posts now that I'm back from holidays!   There were 36 members and 1 guest present for our June meeting.  During the day we pieced together two Christmas Raffle quilts using the Perfect 10 pattern.

Audrey completed the wall hanging for the PCH.

The program for the evening was a binding refresher by Audrey.  After that Kathy showed a method on how NOT to cut bias binding and then the proper method on how to cut bias binding strips.

There are still two spots available for the Swan River Retreat in September and there is still time to sigh up!

Highway 10 Designs has a new table runner and place mat pattern called Detour.  Here are a few samples.

Show and Tell

Here are all the lovely project our guild members shared at the June meeting.

Robin and Nadine are still busy making kids quilts to donate to the Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon.
