We had another wonderful Christmas party to wrap up our year. The day had a small group on hand to finish up a few projects and get a few started then by evening we had 43 members and 16 guests attend our party.
A count was done and we are happy to report that our group has donated 68 quilts to the community in 2014 so we had a very successful and productive year!
We had 65 place-mats to donate to Meals On Wheels!
Our Round Robins are coming along nicely. We were to put the block on point and either use a special ruler or applique in the setting triangles. The next set of instructions are " Add bling, baubles, beads or thread play".
We had a lot of lucky winners at the party. The Show and Tell draw was won by Marg Harrower, the Fat Quarter Bundles were won by Myrna Agerbak and Terri Brown, and the Good Tidings Quilt was won by Jeanne Dubray.
The Silent Auction was a big hit as well and thank you to all that donated items!
Here is a great picture of our youngest and oldest guest at the party!
Now for Show and Tell.
Reminder
On Saturday January 10 we are having a UFO day at the church from 9am to 5pm. Hope to see you there!
Happy New Year!
