Meeting Notice June 19th

The June quild meeting will be held on Tuesday June 19th at the United Church from 9Am to 9PM, with the business meeting starting at 7PM.

We are sending out one more plee for transportation blocks. Members are voting on their favorite blocks that evening. You still have time to complete your block before Tuesday. The more blocks we have to make a fund raising quilt for an organization, the nicer the quilt. Look how lovely the Quilt of Hope hanging in Faktor's is with the large variety of blocks. We will have two prizes for blocks that evening, a viewers choice award and a basket draw award. You could be lucky.

We will have the pleasure of learning, and being entertained, by the "Lori and Kathy Show". Below you will see a photo of the quilted postcards for their program.

In the afternoon we are finishing our "Bears Need Homes Too" log cabin quilt, as well as putting together the basket quilt and we might just have time to start on the Canadiana quilt. We can always use some extra hands with pinning, pressing, and yes, seam ripping.

Our raffle quilt is hanging in the Libray for the months of June and July, if you want to drop in to see it or to show it off to visiting family and friends.

See you on Tuesday, and Happy quilting.
