In June the guild held a Beginner Workshop for new members and 12 attended. The project was the Mahjongg quilt pattern and all the members did very well with their projects. Here is a picture of the guilds sample. I hope we will be seeing some of these projects in our future Show and Tells!
The guild comfort block is turning out really nice! And don't for get to bring back your 9-Patch blocks for Audrey's Presidents quilt.

square foot exhibit and auction. It is
$25 to register and all mediums in a square foot format are being
accepted. Proceeds of the auction will
be split between Norva and the artist. The deadline for entries is Sept. 22,
2014.
A retreat and potluck has been booked for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24th
and 25th. The retreat is free
and open to all members.
The quilt patterns for the different Christmas raffles have been chosen
and fabric ordered. It will be Christmas
in July to get an early start on these.
The program was a demonstration of the Ragtime Log Cabin pattern
presented by Phyl Broughton.
Show and Tell
And here is the new Highway 10 Designs pattern Quarter Sections. Eileen made this cute baby quilt with our pattern. I'll have the quilt from the cover of our pattern at the July meeting for Show and Tell as well as the paper versions of the pattern for sale.
