April 2013 Meeting Highlights

Thirty Two members and Four guests turned out for our April Meeting. Most of our snowbirds have returned.  This made for a full day of fun and quilting, with so many of our members home for the summer.

Correspondence

An invitation was received from the Northern Health Region to attend a volunteer luncheon on April 22, 2013.

Below are Three of our comfort blocks sewn into quilt tops.  Now to get them quilted.  If any of our members want to take a quilt home to practice their machine quilting, or if you want to assemble a quilt from some of our fabric, please talk to Audrey or Kathy.

This quilt top sewn from some of our comfort blocks, is being completed and will be sent to a wounded Canadian soldier, as a quilt of Valour.
